Introduction:

Hello,
this website was made for the purpose of helping people deal with their mental health in a way that is healthy.Poor mental health is an issue that affects many people every day as only around 43% of Americans who live with these issues receive help. This lack of help leads to them being unable to perform as well at things like school or their jobs. These are known as SMIs (Serious Mental Illnesses) as they mess with a person's ability to function in daily life. And though one may perceive the symptoms of said mental illnesses to be the person being lazy or such, do note that these illnesses are not choices as they can be caused by many things such as trauma or simple brain chemistry.

signs that you may be mentally ill:

There are a lot of different disorders that can lead to mental health issues, for example PTSD ,BPD,SAD. These are different disorders that can lead to mental issues that a lot of people deal with. The symptoms for the disorders that I listed include, PTSD- flashbacks or feeling like the event is happening again, feeling detached from family and friends, feeling worried, guilty or sad. BPD- intense fear of abandonment,distorted sense of self, cannot tolerate being by themselves. SAD- sad, anxious of feeling empty, oversleeping, being antisocial, and ect.

what you can do to take care of your mental health?:

There are various different ways for you to get help for your mental health like for example exercise, exercise can help in a lot of different ways. Like jumping jacks, push-ups, curl-ups, and etc. Exercise is also a method for curing mental illness, because exercise is a way to upgrade your mood and make your body healthy in general.
